Lin Xiuyun, deputy secretary of CPC Committee of WHPTand her representatives attended the openning ceremony of JingShi Institute in Thailand

On December 20, the JingShi Institute to Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi---the first overseas JingShi Institute, implemented under the People-to-People Exchange Jingshi Project of China Center for International People-to-People Exchange Ministry of Education---saw its successful opening ceremony in Thailand. Lin Xiuyun, deputy secretary of  CPC Committee of Wuhan Polytechnic, and Chen Qing, dean of the School of  Electronic Information and Engineering were invited to the ceremony.   

Du Kewei, director of CCIPE, Zhang Yong, chairman of Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd, Soranit Siltharm, Executive Minister of the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation of Higher Education of Thailand, Huang Wei, Science and Technology Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, Song Ruoyun, first secretary of the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, Patcharawan Wongthai, educational counsellor of Thailand in China, and Virach Hotravaisaya, president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and Weerasak Wongsombat, chairman of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, attended the opening ceremony. More than 100 guests from China and Thailand as well as 850 Thai university teachers and students witnessed this great moment.

It is reported that the establishment of JingShi Institute, through the international production-education integration model of school-school-enterprise cooperation, aims to integrate high-quality resources, build training bases, provide local technical personnel training for overseas schools, and enhance Chinese universities capability to run schools overseas and professional development, and improve their influence around the world. By means of localized teaching, the purpose is to deepen the integration of international production and education, cultivate technical and skilled talents needed by local enterprises, and support Chinese businesses that go globalwith localized human resources services.

On this September, Wuhan Polytechnic filled in an application for the “People-to-People Exchange JingShi Project” of China Center for International People-to-People Exchange by Ministry of Education. After being reviewed by the project expert group, WHPT was selected as a partner for the program and plans to participate in the joint construction of Jingshi International Institute.
