Associate Professor Li Xue was invited to conduct online Foreign Aid Training

On August 20, Ms. Li Xue, associate professor from School of  Electronic Information Engineering, Wuhan Polytechnic , was invited to give the online lecture for trainees of the seminar on smart city planning and construction in developing countries.

68 members from more than 10 countries including Oman, Indonesia, Mauritius, Zambia, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Uzbekistan and so on ,participated in the training,  organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by FiberHome.

Associate professor Li Xue displayed the virtual simulation software of English version

  to demonstrate the base station data configuration process

Ms. Li Xue conducted a specific training with the theme of Operation and Maintenance of Mobile Communication Network in English.

During the training, Ms Li introduced the online training platform built by our school through online virtual simulation teaching software, shared the successful experience of improving students' practical and operational ability, introduced the background of the virtual simulation software and the objectives and requirements of the online training tasks. Through online simulation, Ms Li demonstrated the whole process of equipment configuration, data configuration and network joint adjustment in the station room when different cities establish their mobile communication network, and explained the LTE network architecture, the difference between FDD (frequency division duplex) and TDD (time division duplex), the structure of distributed base station, the concept of neighborhood and neighborhood relationship configuration, and other related professional knowledge.

At the end of the training, Owen, an engineer from Zimbabwe, said that "the online course is interesting and helpful. Thanks for Ms. Li Xue’s wonderful presentation. I wish I can have the opportunity to come to  Wuhan for further study in the future.”
