WHPT Web News (correspondent Hou Lihua, Wang Chunlian) On the afternoon of September 28th, the Senate delegation of Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) visited Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT) to learn about China's vocational education. Mr.Li Hongqu, Party Secretary and President of WHPT, Mr.Xu Gongjin, Vice President of WHPT, and Mr. Jiang Hui, Director of Department of International Relations attended the reception. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Mr.Xu Gongjin.

At the meeting, WHPT Party Secretary and President Mr.Li Hongqu expressed warm welcome to the guests from the DRC and the Chinese delegates on behalf of WHPT. He briefly introduced the general situation of WHPT, and combined with the management of Chinese higher education and the development of Chinese vocational education, introduced the relevant situation of WHPT in international exchanges and cooperation.
At the meeting, Mr.Mokolo, the first deputy speaker of the DRC Senate and Chairman of the DRC-China Friendship Association, represented the DRC side and expressed appreciation for the achievements of WHPT in vocational education. He said that DRC government attaches great importance to friendly cooperation with China and hopes that this visit will provide an in-depth understanding of China's vocational education and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the DRC education sector and Chinese higher vocational colleges.
During the visit, Mr.Mokolo and his entourage visited the teaching and training centers of the 3D Printing Training Center of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of WHPT and the Intelligent Robotics Technology Center of the School of Electronic Information Engineering.
