WHPT Web News (correspondent Dong Doudou) On November 8, the 13th Cross-Strait Higher Vocational (Technical) Education Academic Conference on the theme of "FUTURE-ORIENTED HIGHER VOCATIONAL (TECHNICAL) EDUCATION" was held at the lecture hall of C11, Lingfeng Building, Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT). Nearly 300 people attended the conference, which consisted of the delegationof the University of Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) and teachers and students from Wuhan Polytechnic. The conference was co-sponsored by Wuhan Polytechnic and Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) and hosted by Wuhan Polytechnic.

Mr.Li Hongqu, Secretary of the Party committee and President of WHPT attended the conference and delivered a speech. Mr. Li Hongqu warmly welcomed the guests of Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) and thanked Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) for their support over the years. For more than a decade, both parties have joined hands in cooperation and exchanges and achieved good results. He hopes that the cooperation between both parties will be deeper in the future and jointly promote the new development of vocational and technical education.
Mr.Chen Botao, Chairman of Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan), sent a birthday greeting to WHPT. In his speech, he deeply remembered the scene of his first trip to WHPT 13 years ago.
At the conference, the authors of the two parties respectively carried out the theme report and exchange speeches. Mr.Ma Bixue, the director of Wuchang Vocational College, made a careful and meticulous comment on the theme report and the exchange report. After the conference, the delegation of Qiaoguang University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) visited the training base of WHPT.
