WHPT Web News (correspondent Wang Chunlian) on the morning of November 22, guided by the Central Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Working Group, the 2018 Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship Development Conference (the 18th Huachuang Association) with the theme of“Overseas Chinese Innovation, and Sharing Development”was held in Wuhan, which jointly sponsored by the Hubei Provincial People’s Government, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and the Wuhan Municipal People’s Government. More than 1,300 overseas Chinese from 71 countries and regions and more than 2,000 domestic representatives attended the conference. Mr. Li Hongqu, secretary of the Party Committee and president of Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT), Mr.Jiang Hui, director of the Department of International Relations, and Mr.Zhang Ziyi, deputy director of the International Relations, invited by the organizing committee to attend the meeting. Mr. Li Hongqu made a keynote speech on behalf of Hubei higher vocational colleges.
At the East Lake International Conference Center in Wuhan, Professor Li Hongqu delivered a keynote speech on “Open and Win-win: Building a Community of Cooperation and Development for Higher Vocational Education” on behalf of Hubei Higher Vocational Colleges, sharing the development pace of Hubei higher vocational colleges following the internationalization of Hubei industry, cultivation of the talents needed for Hubei international enterprises. He also shared the experience and achievements in terms of the introduction of international talents, introducing the international education standards, participation in international education, and training of international students, internationalization education development, and analyzed the international development prospects of Hubei higher vocational education.
