WHPT Web News (Correspondent Wang Chunlian, Chen Dingyu) On December 26th, Mr. Paul Grieve, representative of the TAFE Institute in Queensland, Australia, and Chairman of the Australia China Development Group with his delegation visited Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT). Mr. Xu Gongjin, Vice President of WHPT, and Mr.Jiang Hui, Director of Department of International Relations, received guests and had a meeting with the guests.
Mr.Paul Grieve gave a detailed account of the development of TAFE education in Queensland, Australia. He expressed the hope to actively promote the cooperation between the demonstrative higher vocational colleges in Hubei Province and the AustraliaTAFE college in teacher training and students’ further education, which will give full play to the leading effect of WHPT in vocational education in Hubei Province, and promote the cooperation of vocational education resources between Hubei Province and Queensland state, Australia, which is a win-win cooperation.
Mr.Xu Gongjin introduced the school-running characteristics of WHPT in vocational education and our achievements in international education, and reviewed the cooperation between our university and Australian universities and institutes. He said that he is looking forward to further cooperation with Queensland TAFE College.
