From January 10th to 11th,the member representative assembly of the 6th Council of Hubei Provincial Education Association for International Exchange (HPEAIE) and the member representative conference was held at Hubei Science and Technology College. Mr. Xu Gongjin, Vice President of Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT), and Jiang Hui, Director of the Department of International Relations, attended the conference on behalf of WHPT.
At the conference, Mr. Huang Guobin, deputy director of the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, summarized the important achievements and the valuable experience of Hubei province's education opening up in the past few years, pointing out the gap between Hubei and the developed provinces and the current challenges. He also put forward clear requirements for the next step of the HPEAIE .
Vice President, Mr. Xu Gongjin accepted the letter of appointment of the head of
the International Exchange Branch of Vocational Education
The conference decided to establish an international exchange branch for vocational education and an international exchange branch for basic education. Mr.Jiang Tao, president of Hubei Provincial Education Association for International Exchange, issued an appointment letter for the head of the branch of the association. Mr. Xu Gongjin, vice president of WHPT, was appointed as head of the international exchange branch of vocational education of HPEAIE.
