On December 4, 3D Printing Technology and Development Training Class from  the Belt and  Road countries came to our school for training.

The school of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering provided professional instructions for these international students at the 3D printing technology center. The training class consists of 20 government officials and enterprise technicians who are engaged in mechanical processing technology from 7 countries and regions, including Ghana, Ethiopia, Mauritius, and Papua New Guinea and so on.

The training class focused on the development of 3D printing technology, adopting the mode of theoretical learning--practical operation--exchanges and discussion.  Ms. Xie and Ms. Gao from the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering provided detailed classes in English. At the same time, 5 student assistants participated in assisting thess international students.

In order to ensure the teaching quality of this training class, Ms. Xie carefully designed the training course and lectured the theory of 3D printing technology, FDM molding technology, pportrait scanning technology and its development prospect. In the meantime, student assistants demonstrated how to operate 3D printing technology,tp help the trainees better understand the class contents, and guided the students to master the basic operation.

During the training, the students highly praised the well-developed equipment, teachers and students in the 3D printing technology center. Although it only took the whole morning, most of the students basically grasped the forming theory of FDM and could successfully accomplish the printing.
