From September 15 to September 17, Zhang Ziyi, dean of International Shool, Li Jun, dean of School of Tourism and Aviation Services and other 3 colleagues went to Fuzhou Polytechnic and Liming Vocational University to conduct exchanges and researches on international education.
In the afternoon on September 15, WHPT delegation came to visit Fuzhou Polytechnic. Li Qiubin, president of Fuzhou Polytechnic , met with the delegation. Wu Fashui, director of the president's administrative office, Li Yanyan, general secretary of CPC General Branch of the International Education School, Fan Gaoming, dean of the International Education School and Lin Hairong, vice president of the School of Sino-Europe Aviation Services and others attended the meeting. At the exchange meeting, the two sides exchanged the basic information of both parties and their relevant schools, and made in-depth discussions on foreign affairs management, international education programs and overseas school operations.
Exchanges in Fuzhou Polytechnic
In the afternoon on September 16, WHPT delegation went to Liming Vocational University for exchanges and researches. Zhuang Yimin, deputy secretary of the CPC Committee of Liming Vocational University, met with the delegation. Ke Airu, dean of the International Exchange School, Huang Junrong, vice-dean of of the International Exchange School, Zheng Zhiming, dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, Huang Quanxing, dean of the BusinessSchool and others participated in the communication. Zhuang Yiming extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Both sides introduced the basic information of their schools and their relevant departments respectively and shared their successful experience in terms of running schools abroad, cultivating students abroad, business trips and training teachers abroad and reached an agreement onclose cooperation in the future. During the meeting, WHPT was invited to be one of the initiators of “The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Vocational Education Research Branch of China Vocational Education Association”. The delegation also visited the History Museum of Liming Vocational University, Liang Piyun Achievement Pavilion, Achievement Pavilion for Running School and Maritime Silk Road Exhibition Hall.
The International school and School of Tourism and Aviation Services will continue cooperating with other schools closely to build international specialties, cultivate international talents and enhance the implementation of WHPT's overseas operations, and promote the high-quality development of international education.
