WHPT and ICCCM signed Cooperation Agreement to co-build Wuhan Polytechnic Vocational Skills Training Center in Malaysia

On the morning of June 18, Wuhan Polytechnic (WHPT) and International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM) held the signing ceremony on establishing Wuhan Polytechnic Vocational Skills Training Center in Malaysia at the conference room of WHPT. Li Hongqu, president of WHPT and Nicy Bai, president of ICCCM signed the cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was presided over by vice president Xu Gongjin. Zhang Ziyi, director of the Department of International Relations, and Hu Xin, deputy general manager of China region of ICCCM also attended the ceremony.

 On behalf of WHPT, Li Hongqu extended warm welcome to Nicy and her colleagues and introduced the internationalization development of the school. Li said that internationalization played an important role in the development of school education. WHPT's Quality Enhancement and Innovation Campaign has made significant plans for international development. The practice of jointly building an overseas vocational skills training center was highly in line with the national strategy for vocational international education and the school's development plan. We looked forward to the good results of the project and win-win cooperation.

Nicy thanked WHPT for its warm reception and spoke highly of WHPT's international achievements. Nicy introduced the cooperation between ICCCM and Chinese universities. She said that the two sides had broad prospects for cooperation and looked forward to in-depth exchanges and joint cooperation to achieve win-win results in the field of international cooperation in higher vocational education.

After the signing ceremony, Nicy and her team visited the Sshool of Foreign Languages and International Trade. They had in-depth exchanges on internationalization with the dean of the School, Yang Aixia, relevant professional leaders and teachers.

According to the agreement, WHPT and ICCCM will jointly build the Wuhan Polytechnic Vocational Skills Training Center in Malaysia, which will be located in Kuala Lumpur. Facing the Belt and Road countries and regions, this center is aimed to provide services for go global enterprises and local enterprises, offer Chinese + vocational skills training and talent support for the Belt and Road Initiative.
